A sustainable fashion show was held as part of the Baku Climate Action Week.
Baku Climate Action Week 2026 brought together designers, artisans, industry representatives, academics and policymakers for a meaningful conversation on the future of sustainable fashion, followed by a unique showcase. The event demonstrated that circular design can meet the highest standards of couture and craftsmanship, while traditional crafts and heritage costumes remind us that sustainability is not a new concept, but a practice deeply rooted in ur history. Most importantly, inclusion was not just a theme— it was part of he runway itself. Makers with disabilities presented their own work, under their own names, alongside other designers.
